Salida's “Best Musician” Offers Thanks!

To all the voters and participants who voted in The Best Of Salida 2009 poll, I would like to offer many thanks. I am very honored to be voted as “Salida’s Best Musician 2009”. Leah Underwood and Rebecca Adelman did a wonderful job gathering votes from Salida citizens, to sort out “Salida’s Best” in close to 100 different categories. I would like to show my appreciation to the community and congratulate the other finalists with The Best Of Salida Party at the Boathouse Cantina. The Boathouse was voted Salida's Best Happy Hour. The party will be on Tuesday, December 15th from 4-7pm. Certificates will be awarded to all the first place winners and Shannon Hemingway will provide live music from 5-7pm. Happy hour drink specials will be offered till 6.

Congratulations on the publication of a fabulous first “Best of Salida”. I especially appreciated your unique introduction and the additional interesting comments sprinkled about in the lists of “bests”.
 
As Leah knows, we were in Joshua Been’s Virtuosity Gallery when Leah delivered his copy of “Best of Salida” last Friday. He was so honored and displayed quite a joyous response.
 
Today I was at a couple of social gatherings at Café Dawn…they were also on Cloud Nine!
 
And, when I went to pick up my copy at Maurice’s yesterday I was given a personal and informative tour of Maurice’s best…so, it has already introduced me to a new business…and I’m certain that will be the case for many other Salida residents! What a gift you’ve given to the local businesses and community!
 
Thanks for your magnificent effort toward a fabulous new project that will benefit all of Salida.
