Best of Salida 2010 – Twice as Nice Best of Salida 2010 is brought to you by the number 2. This year, we celebrate the 2nd anniversary of BOS. As we were preparing this edition, Vol. II, the two of us were having a conversation about how “it takes two” for partnership. BOS 2010 honors our partnership with the community and the people and places that make Salida the Best, this year and every year. In BOS 2010, you’ll find not only the winners, the placers and the show-ers in the familiar categories, you’ll meet the shining stars of Salida as BOS 2010 introduces the “SPOTLIGHT”. In this edition, and with much a-deux, BOS 2010 recognizes the Salida "Local Food Movement" and the collaborative effort to revitalize and build more locally based, self-reliant food economies in which sustainable food production, processing, distribution and consumption is integrated to enhance the economic, environmental and social health of Salida. BOS 2010 salutes and supports a preference to buy locally produced goods and services.
